I started this blog in 2010 seeing 53 show in 3 months in the US & Canada, In 2011 i saw 43 shows all over Europe, continued it into 2012 seeing 9 shows in Argentina and 15 more shows in the USA. In 2013 it was back to Europe for 18 shows to include Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria! I didn't do the blog in 2016/17/18 but saw 18 shows including multiple US shows and 3 trips to Mexico to see the end of the tour!
So here we are in 2023, 189 shows and 156, 890 miles later and off we go again!
Simon: as usual, great blog post - great pictures, video, and notes. Even for those of us who were there, your blog is a real treat. Great seeing you and Kamilla, meeting Wendy, and the other gentleman at the pre-show meet-up!
I hope I speak for many people who maybe visit this site but not comment. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your blog. We've met a few times, in Paris & London 2002 then O2 May 2011. Only spoke for a few minutes but I've always learned something new each time thanks to your knowledge. A long time Waters/Floyd fanatic no longer fit enough to travel to many shows, your blog makes me feel somehow connected to each tour, and oh boy How I wish I were There!
A big Thank You for all of your efforts.
Mark (aka R'n'D) on some old boards now departed :-)
Great job on the blog, Simon. I really enjoyed your coverage and photos, particularly the ones looking back on the crowd from the front, which are unusual to find. Met you in Vegas.
It was amazing!!
